GRACE BRYLINSKI

This is a custom composed extension of Schubert's Op. 9 No. 6 waltz for ballet class. Schubert's original themes bookend this piece and the two middle themes are original compositions. This work was composed to work as a Grand Allegro in ballet class. It also works very well for leg swings at the barre, or a grand battement in 3/4. This is the first remote collaboration I've done, and it was definitely a challenge, but I think it turned out very well! This video is a performance of Germaine Tailleferre's piano duo, Jeux de Plein Air, performed with Kelia Ingraham. We each recorded in our homes and Kelia edited the videos together. Although this is different than performing in person, we are learning and trying to adapt during these challenging times.
