Compositions and Arrangements

This arrangement includes three of the most famous themes from Rimsky-Korsakov's original score. This compilation fits a short ballet performance format including a slow waltz introduction, followed by a quicker waltz and finally a fast 6/8, tarantella finale. Phrase lengths and transitions have been arranged to fit a ballet format. It is also a rewarding piano arrangement to play as a solo work.

This is an arrangement of three themes from Johann Strauss II. The themes are taken from Weiner Bonbons Waltz, Die Fledermaus, and Tritsch Tratsch Polka. Phrase lengths and left hand accompaniment have been modified to allow each of the themes to fit the format of a ballet class or performance and transition music has been added to seamlessly blend the three themes together. This is also a rewarding arrangement to for an intermediate to advanced solo pianist.

This arrangement takes Schubert's original waltz, Op. 9 No. 6, and extends it. Original themes of Schubert provide the opening and ending sections of this arrangement while my original compositions make up the two middle sections. This energetic piano solo works great in a ballet class as a grand allegro or grand battement in 3/4.
